Rev. Fr. Alex Orphanos

Fr. Alex Orphanos served as Presiding Priest at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Woburn, MA from 2021-2022. A native of Westwood, MA, Fr. Alex grew up in the Metropolis of Boston and attended the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England. He was active in the church's ministries and credits his love for youth ministry to his experience as a counselor and camper at the Metropolis of Boston
Camp.
Previously, he served as Assistant Priest at Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Northridge, CA. He was ordained to the Holy Diaconate by His Eminence Archbishop
Elpidophoros of America at the Cathedral of Saint Paul in Hempstead, NY, on August 25, 2019, and to the Holy Priesthood by His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San
Francisco at Saint Nicholas on October 6, 2019. Prior to being ordained, Fr. Alex served as Pastoral Assistant at the Cathedral of Saint Paul from 2016 to 2019.
Fr. Alex graduated from Hellenic College in 2011 and received his Master of Divinity from Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology in 2016. During his undergraduate
and graduate studies, he served as Youth Director at Holy Transfiguration in Lowell from 2014 to 2016 and volunteered at several parishes including Saint Catherine in
Braintree and the Annunciation Cathedral.
Fr. Alex married his wife, Patricia in May 2018 and they welcomed their first child in May 2021. Together they enjoy being active members of their church community.
Rev. Fr. George D. Tsoukalas, Protopresbyter
1996 - October 2, 2022
As a young boy, Fr. George Tsoukalas eagerly anticipated Sunday mornings. Serving as an altar boy for the Church was a privilege and the spiritual beauty of the Divine Liturgy captivated him - he immediately felt at home in the Church. Fr. Rev. Father Charles Mihos
1952 - 1996
Rev. Charles L. Mihos served the St. George
community faithfully for 44 years. Born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, Fr. Mihos was the youngest boy among 10 children.
He attended Church every Sunday becoming close with his parish priest who inspired him to follow in his footsteps. Click here for bio.
ARCHMANDRITE CHRISTOPHER ARGYRIDES

Father Argyrides came to St. George as a young man and guided its spiritual development and growth for many years. He was born in Zodia Morphon on the island of Cyprus and received his early education in the public schools of the island. Click here for bio.
