Athletics

St. George Athletics is a ministry for the Orthodox faithful of our Church to achieve Orthodox fellowship through athletic activities. St. George sponsors athletic programs for its youth and hosts many athletic events, most notably it serves as host of the annual Harry Agganis Basketball Tournament in the spring.

Through our athletic programs, we strive to help our youth mature in our Christian faith by demonstrating the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and leadership-as well as fostering respect for one another.

Schedule for Program Year 2008-09: The Boys Basketball program begins on Monday, September 29, 2008 and meets every Monday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. The Girls Basketball program begins on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 and meets every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00pm
